I’m Going to San Francisco!

I’m packing my bags and books. I’m ironing clothes and vacuuming. (uh, I know, weird). I’m off to California to promote my book for five-and-a-half whole days!

I’ll be squeezing in some other activities, too. Friends and colleagues have given me compulsory to-do lists. I’ll be eating at Chez Panisse and Sens, checking out the cheese at The Cheeseboard and the ice cream at Ici. I’ll be looking at art and walking by the ocean. If you have any more ideas about where I should go or what i should do, post it here!

And for god’s sake if you’re in The Bay Area, come to one of my readings! I’ll be reading with Bay Area pastry chef Shuna Fish Lydon at one of them. I hope to meet some more writers and food bloggers so don’t be shy to email me or post a hello or introduce yourself at a reading.
